i'm carolyn tyler. at least six occupy oakland protestors face charges this morning, including vandalism, assaulting police officers and possessing explosives after an anti-police march last night. starting around 8:00 they marched from the plaza. they claim they have been harassed at occupy oakland events in recent weeks. some marchers broke patrol windows, vandalized news advance and someone also lit a fire near 8th and washington street. they uncovered an explosive equal to a quarter stick of dynamite. some occupy oakland protestors are condemning the actions of others saying the majority do not condone that violence. and occupy san jose they will march today from city hall to the santa clara county courthouse starting at noon. this event coincides with the court case held 126 years ago known as santa clara county versus southern pacific railroad. this 1886 case stemmed from the railroad's refusal to pay taxes. it was a dispute over changes to california packs -- tax law. the u.s. supreme court ultim
